BMG has been commissioned by overseas consultants to design, supply and install proprietary equipment in sugar mills. Quality brands like Zollern Dorstener sugar cane mill drives, Fenner power transmission components, Timken spherical roller bearings and Tsubaki chain have been installed in sugar mills, not only in South Africa, but in South America, Mauritius and Zambia.

SASTA 2009, which was held at the ICC in Durban at the end of August, had the theme this year of ‘sustainability’ and focussed specifically on nutrition, the environment and small scale enterprises.
